The Diploma in Mining Asset Maintenance Management aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the scope of mining asset maintenance management. Participants will gain knowledge of different maintenance strategies and methods for optimizing them to create value for their organizations. The program also incorporates key aspects of safety, supply chain management, and risk management within the context of mining asset maintenance.

Classes are held every other weekend: Fridays from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
To establish a comprehensive understanding of the scope of mining asset maintenance management, enabling students to acquire knowledge of various maintenance strategies and optimization methods that generate value for their organizations, while integrating key concepts related to safety, supply chain management, and risk management.
The Mining Asset Maintenance Management Program is designed for mining industry professionals and personnel who seek to develop the competencies required for the comprehensive management of mining asset maintenance.
Applicants must hold a professional degree or academic qualification (minimum of 8 semesters), a higher-level technical degree (minimum of 4 semesters), and/or have at least two years of work experience related to the program.
Regarding the hours indicated in the curriculum for each module, half correspond to direct instruction with the lecturer, while the remaining hours are allocated to independent study. During this time, students are expected to complete activities and coursework outside scheduled class hours.
Graduates of the Diploma in Mining Asset Maintenance Management will be able to understand and apply the fundamental concepts of mining asset maintenance management.
They will understand the impact of human resources, productivity, and costs on mining asset maintenance management, as well as identify and comprehend the key challenges and best practices in the field.
Graduates will be capable of establishing a comprehensive vision of the scope of mining asset maintenance management, understanding different maintenance strategies and optimization methods that generate value for their organizations.
In addition, they will gain knowledge of safety and risk management practices, as well as the role of supply chain management within mining asset maintenance operations.
