STORY

Escuela de Negocios Mineros (ENM) was established in 2009 as a unique initiative in Chile and around the world, driven by the Catholic University of the North together with leading mining companies and public organizations linked to productive development. Its creation responded to the need for advanced human capital capable of addressing the strategic, technological, and operational challenges of a mining industry undergoing constant transformation.

Since then, ENM has become a meeting point between academia, industry, and the public sector, delivering specialized education that integrates technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and applied innovation.

 

MISSION: EDUCATING LEADERS FOR THE FUTURE OF MINING

ENM was founded under a distinctive principle that remains at the core of its identity today: “from mining and for mining.”

Its mission is to educate professionals capable of:

Through its Master’s Degree in Mining Management, diploma programs, and continuing education initiatives, the School has trained:

 

  • -Nearly 300 graduates from the Master’s Degree in Mining Management.
