Classes are held every other weekend: Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The program is designed for professionals working in human resources, people management, and organizational leadership roles. Its purpose is to strengthen competencies needed to address the challenges of the mining industry while developing skills that are transferable to other productive sectors. The program aims to cultivate strategic capabilities that enable participants to implement innovative practices in talent attraction, development, retention, and employee well-being, ensuring high standards of performance and sustainability in demanding operational environments.
The Diploma in Strategic Talent Management in Mining is intended for mining industry professionals and personnel seeking to develop competencies in leadership and people management, with an interest in improving performance, productivity, and organizational culture in high-demand environments.
As part of the admission process, applicants are encouraged to submit a motivation letter outlining their interests, professional objectives, and how they expect to apply the knowledge acquired through the program in their workplace.
Applicants must hold a professional degree or academic qualification (minimum of 8 semesters), a higher-level technical degree (minimum of 4 semesters), and/or have at least two years of work experience related to the program.
Regarding the hours indicated in the curriculum for each module, half correspond to direct instruction with the lecturer, while the remaining hours are allocated to independent study. During this time, students are expected to complete activities and coursework outside scheduled class hours.
Graduates of the Diploma in Strategic Talent Management in Mining are capable of contributing to performance and productivity in mining and other high-demand environments through the formulation and implementation of talent management strategies. They also support organizational culture and strengthen team cohesion, promoting an inclusive work environment aligned with strategic objectives.
